Open Bot settings in the dashboard to configure how Relayn behaves on your server.

Enabling and disabling the bot

The master switch turns the bot on or off for the whole server. When off, the bot ignores every message — useful during events, migrations, or while you rework the knowledge base.

Channels to watch

The bot only answers in channels you explicitly select. Pick the places where members actually ask for help — #support, #questions, #general — and leave the rest unmonitored.
Fewer, well-chosen channels usually work better than selecting everything: the bot stays useful where it’s expected and doesn’t interject in off-topic chatter.

Trusted roles and users

Trusted members are the ones who can teach the bot through auto-learning:
  • Trusted roles — pick Discord roles (e.g. Moderator, Team). Anyone holding the role is trusted.
  • Trusted users — additionally trust specific members regardless of their roles.
When the bot can’t answer a question, only replies from trusted members are captured as new knowledge. Choose people whose answers you’d be happy to see the bot repeat verbatim.
